Umm...kinda. I'd like a good-sized family.

Anybody here ever wanted to be a Borrower (as in the Borrowers in Mary Norton's books)?

Luke -- I'm also oldest of nine, and we are also saying how we need another baby! :)

And I totally agree about the names. :D Even if I get twenty I won't have enough for all the names I want to use...

A nice mixture of boys and girls would be nice.

Crush, what's your idea of "good-sized"? And Jonathan, how many do you want? :)

I know how much fun it is being one of seven, I can't imagine how much fun you would have in a family of eleven. :D

The Spellchecker is an editor. It's his job to see to it that words are spelled correctly and correct grammar is used. This is a writing forum, after all.

Also, you're the first person who's asked specifically where he is.

As to his identity...well, let's just say this guy has some mental identity problems. :P

Well, they're books about these six inch people who live in the floors and borrow things from us (like food, and safety pins). Delightful books.

There are movies. In fact, the latest from Studio Ghibli (responsible for My Neighbor Totoro, Spritied Away, Howl's Moving Castle) is based on The Borrowers.
Wikipedia wrote:
The Borrowers: a 1973 American made-for-TV movie in the Hallmark Hall of Fame.
The Borrowers: a 1992 BBC TV series and its 1993 sequel The Return of the Borrowers, both starring Ian Holm and Penelope Wilton.
The Borrowers: a 1997 film with a British/American cast including Tom Felton, John Goodman, Jim Broadbent, Celia Imrie and Mark Williams.
Arrietty: a 2010 Japanese animated film from Studio Ghibli.[2]
The Borrowers: an upcoming BBC production starring Stephen Fry, Victoria Wood, and Christopher Eccleston.[3]

But On-Topic, I started out around age 3 or 4 thinking astronaut and ballerina. After seeing a shuttle launch I apparently decided that I should own a bakery instead, and have dozens of kids to provide free labor. ^_^; Then veterinarian, though that ambition didn't survive the death of one of my dogs in high school. Author has been in the running since about fourth grade, and is the current front-runner. As far as things I would love but aren't quite possible...

Stable-hand at Cair Paravel during the Golden Age of Narnia.
Queen of a small semi-modern country, or at least Lady/Chatelaine of a landed manor/castle.
Shapeshifter.

Then there was the 1980s cartoon series The Littles, based on a series of books quite similar to The Borrowers.
