─¦Orome

The moon seen through the branches of leafless trees.
A distant thunder on still air.
A tremor in the ground, before you can hear the sound.
The fuller of a heavy sword blade.
The shadows under thick locks of hair.
Light pouring between the boles of tall, dark trees.
A purging exorcist: thorough, patient, potent.
Washing the gore from a shield in a forest waterfall.
Pouring water from a stone pitcher, the throbbing and drumming of the water as it pits and throws aside the dust.
A blasting wind that breaks the dead branches from a tree, and causes the living bows to bud and bloom after the wind has passed.
An iron blade cutting through a dense thicket of thorns and poisonous weeds.
The world wide flood, and the beams of the ark.
Drums of zeal.
An earthquake in the wilderness.
Throwing down three warriors with the thrust of a broad shield.
A lion speared down from the zenith of a charging bound.
Sweeping the feet from under a giant.
Spiked boots striding across the slain.
Flinging a wasp’s nest from a cliff.
Aslan’s leap into the Witch’s castle over the wall.
Cutting a tribal, demon mask in two by the blow of a battle axe into the face.
Breaking a werewolf’s back with the edge of a heavy shield.
A blazing dawn of white and gold breaking through wreaths of black smoke from an inferno.
A swift flood carrying away a smoking oven.
An eagle shredding a thick net with its claws to release many birds trapped in it.
Tall grass flattened by the wind of passing cavalry.
A roaring flame that burns up the clouds and mist, leaving a clear, early morning sky.
A star shining so fiercely that its light can be seen burning down through all the clouds of a thunderhead.
A Latin chant sung by ten thousand voices, as a battle is fought, and won.
A rage of wind casting a high crown from the head and splitting it on the stones.
A cloak of iron torn from the shoulders by the wind of forward movement.
Cutting down through the shield, the arm, and through both legs, in a single blow.
The weight of a tall, iron spade cleaving the soil, digging a deep grave for the enemy.
Breaking the maw of a giant bear with a blow from a gauntleted fist.
A blazing light that shakes with a sudden shock.
A heavy arrow piercing deep into the heart of the sky.
Trees on a slope with an avalanche of stones pouring through among them.

What do you think?
What parts stand out to you? Does it give you any ideas? Do you have a question about some part? Does any of it remind you of something?

Please critique!
