Treasure Abyss (Writing)

Treasure Abyss
Based off of Treasure Planet
By: The Holy Worlds Crew

Prologue

Once, many centuries ago, there lived a vicious pirate, feared by all. Even the worse pirates shuddered at the mention of his name. This vagabond looted more ships and worlds than could be counted. How he did this? No one quite knew. Some said that he was a powerful magician, and others claimed he was possessed. However, all of the reports agreed on one fact: this pirate would swoop in out of nowhere, gather up as much treasure as his ships could carry, and then vanished without a trace. Who was this pirate, you may ask? What was his name? I shall tell you. His name was Sir Emeth Mimetes, the Dark Lord. Everyone said that he hid his precious treasure in a mysterious abyss. But where?

As the years went by, generations passed, and the memory of Emeth faded. But one day, a young boy by the name of James Hawkins discovered a book recounting all of Emeth's deeds. This book kindled a fire in young James that never left him. A passion to find Emeth's treasure, a loot of a thousand worlds! This is James' story.

Chapter 1

James' story begins on a regular day at the Benbo Inn, the inn that his mother, Sarah, owned. Because James, or Jim as everyone called him, had no father, this was the Hawkins family's only way to support themselves. But, of course, young Jim was restless and could never settle himself down long enough to wash the dishes. He preferred to sail through the air, feel the wind on his face, and experience life. However, this did not always go well for Jim.

One busy day at the Benbo Inn, Sarah struggled to keep up her energy in order to get enough pay for her family's necessities. The inn was crowded visitors wanting something to eat for dinner. Among these guests was an old family friend by the name of Doctor Delbert Doppler, an astrophysicist.

"Where is Jim when I need him! Let's see, Mrs. Parkins wants perp juice with a side of squiggly crawlers, the McNaffies need the family five order, and--What am I missing?!" Sarah balanced the different foods on her arm as she scrambled to serve all of the impatient guests.

(Sven, you as Dr. Doppler and Romanadvoratrelundar as Sarah can jump in now, and Elly can when she wants to bring in Jim, arrested.) ;)

(I'm very sorry! Life has been crazy lately!!! :( I'll try to be better about this! :( )

Dr.Dopplar, an astrophysicist, and obviously proud of it by the way of his constant bragging on it. Wears his usual awkward smile, which unfortunately showed his grimy teeth, And then walks towards his friend. "Now Sarah! I must help you! You have so much to do!" He walks towards the lady and tries to grab the perp juice, in his usual clumsiness... he drops the juice, and it pours onto the ground.

Every church should have a place from where preaching takes place from a Book that points to the exalted Savior ALONE! If there is no preaching and no Book, there will be no desire to exalt the Savior, and consequently - no true Church!

The will of God is simple - that we be conformed to the image of the Lord Jesus Christ in every aspect of our lives. To look for more than that is to seek extra-biblical revelation!

Both are by my dad! I have the absolute best dad in the whole world, and nobody can gainsay that, ever, Ever, EVER!!!!!

Sarah smiled and nodded to Dr. Dopplar, then deftly mopped up the perp juice, still balancing her tray and got another one.(She must be clever! :dieshappy: )

I am Ebed Eleutheros, redeemed from slavery in sin to the bond-service of my Master, Jesus Christ.

Redemption is to be purchased, to have a price paid. So I was redeemed from my master sin, and from justice, which demanded my death. For He paid the price of sin by becoming sin, and met the demands of justice by dying for us.

For all men have a master. But a man cannot have two masters. For he will love one and hate the other. You cannot serve God and sin. So I die to the old, as He died, and I am resurrected to the new, as He was resurrected.

Dr. Doppler did his best to help Sarah, but he always wished he could do more. While Sarah and the Doctor were serving the guests, Jim began to solarboard through restricted area. This was not his first solarboarding offense, and Elly the sentry stood at the ready to catch and bring him back home.

"Come along!" Elly the Sentry called.
Lord Kalthu/Jim shrunk back.
Elly the Sentry rolled her eyes and beckoned for Lord Kalthu/Jim to move along. She kept her hand lightly resting on her laser gun in her hip holster. "You are under arrest," she announced.

Then Long Jean Silver bounded into the topic a little too early and the director yelled at him.

"Get out of the script, Silver! It isn't your cue!"

"Long Jean Silvay, away! You cannot control moi, Monsieur. I will do as I please, s'il vous plait! Mademoiselle, put down ze gun before I am forced to...to...make you put it down! I am taking ze boy to my secret lair, in the heart of Pari, right underneath ze Eiffel Tower where you will never find me! He shall be my squishy...I mean, my apprentice. Come along, you malheureux garcon."

"Cut," the director shouted.

And then the Narrator did her job: keeping the story to the main plot line! "Silver!" she shouted, "get your muggy hands off of him and patiently await your turn! You will be a main character in no time, but unless you're patient, you will not show up at all!"

Back at the Benbo Inn, Sarah scooped up the last dish and bid farewell to the last guest. Exhausted, she rested in a chair nearby the window. Dr. Doppler stayed to keep her company until Jim came home.

"It's alright, Sarah. I'm sure he's just fine. Probably just frolilicking...frolking, fro-lick-ing about as young teenagers do. I wouldn't be surprised if he walked through that door right now!"

"See, I told you, Sarah! I told you that Jim would come in right-at-that... That is not a happy face... I'll be quiet now," Dr. Doppler said, attempting to disappear into his chair.
